Obituary for Lossie Oliver Tucker

Lossie Oliver Tucker, 76, of Independence died Saturday (August 30, 1958)
afternoon at Grafton City Hospital.

Born in Grant County near Maysville, Aug. 8, 1882, he was the son of Charles
Andrew and Susan Elizabeth Shell Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Ollie Man Teter Tucker, one son, Carl Tucker of
Independence; one brother, Elmer Tucker of Tunnelton, one sister, Mrs. Dennie
Culp of Ridgley; and one granson, SP3C Richard Hugh Tucker, U.S. Army in
Germany. One daughter is deceased.

A retired machinist for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, he returned in 1949 with
15 years of services.

He resided in Independence since 1916.
