The Dominion News, Morgantown, WV; August 5, 1958
Walter Allen Orr, 78, of 311 Miller St., Blueville, Grafton, died at 2:45 p.m.
Monday (August 4, 1958) at his home.

Born in Preston County near Kingwood Jan. 4, 1880, he was son of the late Daniel
Ellis and Hannah Catherine Ashburn Orr.

He was a carpenter and contractor and a member of the Gladesville Baptist
Church. He had lived in Grafton since April, 1922.

Survivors include his widow, Vina Wyant Orr; a son, James E. of Fairmont; a
daughter, Mrs. William R. (Ruby) Hunsaker of Fairmont; two sisters, Mrs. G. B.
Loar of Morgantown and Mrs. Charles L. Rodgers of Grafton; four grandchildren
and one grandchild deceased.
