GROB John A. Grob, 76, of Grafton, died at 5 p.m. Saturday (November 6, 1971) in Grafton City Hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1895, at McMechen, a son of the late John Albert and Sarah Virginia (Headloguer) Grob. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, a WWI veteran and a member of the Veterans of World War I, No. 1949. He was a retired freight conductor for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillian Brow Grob of Grafton and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by one son, John Jr. and three sisters Flora, Virginia and Edith. Friends will be received at the Bartlett Funeral home Sunday beginning at 7 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Nellie Williams officiating. Burial will be at Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
