CURRY Lawrence C. Curry, 79, of Rt. 2, Grafton, died Tuesday morning (November 9, 1971) at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Taylor County on Feb. 27, 1892, a son of the late Jehu and Ellen Vincent Curry. He was a farmer, and a former employee of the West Virginia Industrial School for Boys at Pruntytown. He was a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Edna B. Keener Curry; six sons, Williard, Ray J. and Eugene K. both of Tampa, Kenneth L. of Putman, Ky., Robert F. and Richard F., both of Grafton; two daughters, Mrs. John (Alta) Campbell of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Tom (Mary) Turkovich of Putman; two brothers, Grover Curry of Rivesville and K. L. Curry of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Bartlett Funeral Home in Grafton after 7 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be moved to the Harmony Grove Baptist Church to lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Friday, the time of services at the church. Burial will follow in the Harmony Grove Cemetery.
