The Dominion News (Morgantown, WV) July 3, 1958
Joseph Vargo Sr., 73, of the Sabraton area died early this morning at Monongalia
General Hospital following a long illness.

A native of Hungary, he was born Sept. 13, 1884.

He was a retired employee of the Pressed Prism Plate Glass Co. and a member of
the Hungarian Reformed Church.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr. of Rivesville and Stephen of Carteret,
N.Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Russ of Baxter, W.Va., Mrs. Margaret Hogan of
Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Alice Bezjak at home, Mrs. Irene Heim of
Bayside N.Y. and two grandchildren.
