Obituary for WILDA MOORE TENNANT

Mrs. Wilda Moore Tennant, 53, of Blacksville, died Friday (November 19, 1971) at
University Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 24, 1919, at Fairview, a daughter of the late W. D. Moore and
Ossie B. Moore, who survives.

Other survivors include her husband, Cephus Tennant; three sons, William J. of
Virginia Beach, Va., Michael and Scottie Linn, both at home; five daughters,
Mrs. Elizabeth C. Roupe of Wana, Mrs. Gretta Lee Isiminger of Erie, Pa., Mrs.
Linda Sue Lemley of Blacksville, Mrs. Sally Ann Bell of Waynesburg, Pa. and Miss
Garnet Tennant, at home; five brothers, Harold of Wilkensburg, Pa., Robert of
Fairview, Jack and Joe, both of Newcastle, Pa., Gilbert of Lander, Wyoming;
three sisters, Mrs. Wanda Mowry of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Phyllis Gum of Fairview,
Mrs. Madelyn Bush of Flint, Mich. and nine grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Owen Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Services will be held at the funeral home 3 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Norman
Loughman officiating. Burial will be at Blacksville Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the crippled
children's fund. No flowers will be accepted.
