Obituary for ASA S. SCHROYER

Asa Ross Schroyer, 60, of Rivesville, died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday (April 29,
1959) at Fairmont General Hospital.

Born Sept. 8, 1898, at Accident, Md., he was son of John Wesley and Amanda
Switzer Schroyer, deceased.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Arnold Schroyer, a son, Clifford of Fairmont; a
daughter, Carolyn Ann, at home; six brothers, Jame, Joseph, Harvey, all of
Friendsville, Md., Howard of Rivesville, Clayton and Russell of Accident; four
sisters, Miss May Schroyer, Mrs. Mary Fazenbaker and Mrs. Cora Resh, all of
Accident, Mrs. Helen Devine of Friendsville, two brothers and one sister are
deceased.

He was a member of the Rivesville Methodist Church and the Elite Lodge 423 IOOF
at Fairmont and also the Rebeccah Lodge 64 of Fairmont.

He had been an employee of the Monongahela Power Company as a check layman at
Rivesville power plant for the past 30 years.
