The Dominion News (Morgantown, WV) March 12, 1959
Mrs. Arizona Rice, 83, of Mannington, died at the Walnut Avenue Nursing Home in
Fairmont, Tuesday morning (March 10, 1959) after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late James and Lizetta Wetzel Morris, and was born
August 8, 1875. Her husband, James Calvin Rice preceded her in death.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Hartley, and Mrs. Elsa Fluharty of
Mannington, Mrs. Icie Toothman of Charleston, Mrs. Audrye Price, Morgantown, and
Mrs. Virginia Haught of Fairview; two sons, Howard Rice and Claude Rice of
Morgantown; one brother, Charles of Oklahoma; one daughter and one son are
deceased.
