Obituary for DR. C. MARSHALL NEPTUNE

Former locat dentist dies in Pennsylvania

Dr. C. Marshall Neptune, 38, of Holidaysburg, Pa., died unexpectedly at his
residence Tuesday morning (November 2, 1971).

He was born in Fairmont June 16, 1933, a son of Mrs. Georgie O. Snoderly Neptune
of Morgantown and the late F. N. Neptune.

Following his graduation from West Fairmont High School, he attended Fairmont
State College, graduating in 1956.

He graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1961, and
was associated with Dr. E. N. Costianes here in dental practice from 1961-66.

During those five years, he attended the WVU School of Medicine. He received his
medical degree in 1966.

From 1966-68 he was associated with a hospital in Altoona, Pa., in medical
practice. Dr. Neptune moved to private practice with Dr. James P. Herberg and
Dr. A. F. Meyers in Altoona. He was associated with them from 1969-71.

This August, Dr. Neptune began his own practice in Duncansville, Pa.

Survivors include his widow, Shirley Ann Fawley Neptune; his mother; one son,
Steven, at home, two daughters, Sharon and Donna, both at home; two brothers,
Raymond Neptune of Mt. Gilead, N.C., and Roger Neptune of Morgantown; one
sister, Mrs. Laura Emeory of Cleveland; and a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva
Neptune of Farmington.

Friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home in Fairmont after noon
Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the
Reverend Desist officiating.
