Obituary for JOHN O. MORGAN

John Ogden Morgan, Sr., 79, of Kingwood died yesterday (Jan. 16, 1958) at
Monongalia General Hospital after an illness of ten years.

Born April 7, 1878, near Rivesville, he was the son of the late Zackwell Gideon
and Emily Fast Morgan.

Morgan was employed by the Bank of Fairmont for 12 years and later became
cashier and director of the First National Bank of Fairmont.

He was affiliated with the Knights of Pythias, Mystic Shrine, Benevolent and
Protective Order of Elks and was a 32nd degree Mason.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Morgan of Kingwood; two sons, Dr. David Morgan of
Morgantown and John O. Morgan of Cleveland, Ohio, and three daughters, Mrs.
Henry Hoffman of Grafton, N. D., and Mrs. Wallace Eever and Mrs. Earl Garner,
both of Kingwood.
