Obituary for MRS. DOVE GLADYS KING

Mrs. Dove Gladys King, 70, of Fairmont, died Friday morning (November 20, 1971)
at Fairmont General Hospital.

She was born in Barbour County Aug. 19, 1901, a daughter of the late Lewis and
Sallie Lake McLean.

Survivors include three step-sons, Marner King of Fairmont, Sidney King of
Huntington, and Vanden P. King of Morgantown. Vanden King is the Civil Defense
director and planning coordinator for Monongalia County.

Other survivors are one brother, Monzel McLean of Philippi; one sister, Mrs.
Nova Longbonn of Philippi; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands.

Friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home in Fairmont until 2 p.m.
Sunday, the time of services at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Fred R.
Yearsley officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fairmont.
