Obituary for Mrs. Martha Fluharty

Mrs. Martha Fluharty, 75, of Mohans Run, near Mannington, died 3:45 p.m.
Thursday at the Fairmont General Hospital after a long illness.

Born June 22, 1883 at Dudley Fork of Flat Run, a daughter of the late Bennett
and Rhuehama Snider Efaw.

She was the youngest of a family of 18 children.

Surviving are her husband, Arlie, with whom she celebrated her 55th wedding
anniversary in December; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Myers of Morgantown, Mrs.
Jody Rice of Morgantown, and Mrs. Ruby Stewart of Mannington; three sons,
Russell Fluharty of Manningtno, Ralph Fluharty of Mannington and Willis of
Camden, N.J.; one sister, Mrs. Delphia Toothman of Plum Run; 17 grandchildren
and 14 great grandchildren.

She had been an active member of the Union Valley Baptist Church for 64 years.
