Loring C. Barr, 74, died last evening at his home at Salt Lick, near Mannington.
He was born April 12, 1876, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Barr, and had
been a life long resident of the Mannington section.

Mr. Harr retired from active service with the Pittsburgh-West Virginia Gas
company 11 years ago. He was an active member of the First Baptist church in
Mannington.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Hamilton Barr, and several children; Mrs.
Naomi Thomas, Weston; Mrs. Orene Jones, West Union; Mrs. Martha Moran,
Charleston; and James H. Barr, of Mannington. There are 10 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Jones Funeral home of Mannington will
be in charge.
