WATCHMAN, Vol. 36, Num. 3; Thursday, Feb. 14, 1907: "On Feb. 4, 1907, at her home in Rich Hollow, Greenbrier county, Mrs. Malinda RODGERS (nee LIVESAY), aged 87 years. Interment at Lewisburg." From THE MONROE WATCHMAN, August 20, 1908: "Miss Josephine RALSTON, aged about 17 years, died at the residence of Mrs. J. W. JACKSON, where she made her home, near Organ Cave, Greenbrier county, last Sunday, Aug. 16, 1908, of thyphoid fever." ********************** Mrs. Marietta Reynolds Mrs. Marietta Gilmer Reynolds died at her home on Second Creek Jan 7, 1934, at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 22 days, after an illness of several months. She is survived by her husband, C.B. Reynolds; four sons, J.H. Reynolds of Earlehurst, Va., E.F. and L.C. Reynolds of Ronceverte, and G.W. Reynolds of Covington, Va.; three daughters, Misses Anie, Bessie and Mae, all at home; one sister, Mrs H. S. Ray of Organ Cave. She was much beloved by many friends and all her neighbors; she was a devoted wife and mother. After funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.A. Benfield of Sinks Grove, burial was in the Baptist cemetery at Sinks Grove. Calvin Reynolds Mr. Calvin Reynolds, long a resident of Irish Corner district, died at his home near the mouth of Second Creek, Wednesday morning, Jan 31, 1924, at the age of 85 years. His aged wife preceded him in death three weeks ago, on Jan 7. He was a highly respected citizen and a man of strict honesty and integrity. For many years he had been a member of Mt Pleasant Presbyterian Church, and the funeral services were to be conducted by his pastor; the Rev. W.A. Benfield, with burial in the Baptist cemetery at Sinks Grove. Surviving him are four sons and three daughters, one of the sons being E.F Reynolds of Ronceverte; L.C. Reynolds also of this city, J.H. Reynolds of Earlehurst, Va.; G.W. Reynolds of Covington, Va and three daughters, Misses Annie, Bessie and Mae, all at home.
