A native of Botetourt County, she lived in the area five years and was a widow of John Lewis Arritt and a daughter of James J. and Mrs. Margaret Honaker Green. She was a member of Indian River Baptist Church. She was a member of Dorcas Bible Class of Indian River Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Grant Pitcher and Mrs. Elva Luchard of Chesapeake; a son John C. Arritt of Glendale, WV. and a sister, Mrs. Eva Baker of Ronceverte, WV. The body will be taken from Graham Funeral Home to Indian River Baptist Church for a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. (VA Beach, VA) (She was b. Born November 2, 1926, Marfrance, WV, she was the daughter of the late J. Elliott Lewis and Annie Laurie Hoke Lewis. She was an obstetrics nursing assistant at Emmett Memorial Hospital and a member of the Covington branch Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her brother Albert A. Arritt, one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Joyce) Basham, Roanoke; five sons, John W. Arritt, Richmond; James A. Arritt, Low Moor; Albert Dale Arritt; David B. Arritt, Roanoke; Daniel L. Arritt, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Monty (Ailene) Dolan and Mrs. James (Norma) Bryant, Harrisonburg; Mrs. Carthy (Linda) Dotson, Hines, WV and Mrs. Thomas (Brenda) Alley, Rupert, WV. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Covington branch Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the president, Freddie Tucker, speaking. Interment will be in the Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel. Active pallbearers will be Garland Whiting, Fred F.
