Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Mrs. Andrew THOMPSON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, July 2004 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern September 4, 1890 Mrs. Andrew Thompson Dead The Wife of a Prominent Oshkosh Resident Expires Mrs. Andrew Thompson, wife of the owner of the Revere house, died this morning about two o'clock at the home of her son Charles, 84 Bay street. Mrs. Thompson died of a complication of diseases. She was born in Oppenheim, Fulton county, N.Y., October 21, 1834. She was a lady of many admirable traits of character and an active worker in the Methodist denomination, of which she has been a member since 1847. In this city she was identified with the First Methodist church. She leaves a husband and three children, the latter being Mrs. J. Lewis and Mrs. J.M. Baker and Charles Thompson. The funeral will be held from the First Methodist church, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Friends wishing to view the remains may call Saturday morning at the residence where the death occurred.
