The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Cartwright was held Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock from the Presbyterian church, Rev. O.E. DeWitt officiating. Mrs.
Cartwright died Sunday after an illness of a number of years.  She was born
in Indiana, March 7, 1849, and came to Wisconsin in 1850.  She married
William Cartwright in 1866, who preceded her in death.  She is survived by
one son, George Cartwright; three grandchildren, Bert, Earl and Kurt
Cartwright, all of this village; and two brothers, Gus Alyea of Oshkosh and
Louis Alyea of Minnesota.  Burial was in the Winneconne cemetery.
