OBITUARY

DIED:--At her home in this city, on Feb. 13, 1895, Mrs. Eliza Vervalen,
aged 82 years, 4 months and sixteen days.

The deceased is an old and highly respected citizen and has for years been
prominently connected with the M. E. church. After an illness of nearly
three weeks, which from the first was thought to be fatal, she passed
peacefully away.

Three children, Mrs. Ellen Morgan, residing in Nebraska, Mr. Dempster
Vervalen, residing in California, and Miss Della Vervalen of this city,
survive her.
