Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Anna REHBERG ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Anna Rehberg Mrs. Anna Rehberg was born Jan. 21, 1840, at Cremszaw, Germany, and died at the home of August Kleinsmith in the town of Union, aged 72 years, 3 months and five days. She was married to F. Kutske in 1862 and came to America in 1882, locating near Brooklyn. In 1888, her husband passed away. She was married a second time in 1892 to Mr. F. Rehberg of Brooklyn, where she resided until his death in 1897. Mother Rehberg's last wish was to be relieved of suffering. Death came to her as a welcome friend. She is survived by one daughter Mr. Wm. Lavzow of Magnolia, and three sons, Chas. and Frank of Evansville and Fred of Brooklyn. There are four stepchildren, one of whom is in the clothing business in Janesville. Rev. H. Kohlhepp officiating at the funeral. The burial was in Frieden's cemetery.
