Julius A. Savage died at his home in Cooksville, Saturday last aged 65.

The deceased was one of the pioneer residents of that section of Rock
County and has always made his home near there. He was a man of quiet
demeanor and endeavored to lead a pure Christian life. He leaves a wife,
son Paul and daughter Mrs. Avis Brown, and a brother E. P. Savage of
Madison.

Funeral services were held Monday under the auspices of the Masonic
fraternity of which he was a member, the Rev. Davidson of Stoughton
officiating.
