Obituary: Portage County, Wisconsin: Elizabeth (Klusmeyer) OHSE Gazette, Wed., Mar. 10, 1909 Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Ohse Mrs. Elizabeth C. Ohse, who underwent an operation at St. Joseph's hospital, at Marshfield, two weeks ago last Saturday, passed away at 5 o'clock Saturday evening. The deceased lady was a daughter of Mrs. Charlotte Klusmeyer and a sister of Mrs. G.M. Houlehan, of this city, and had been here most of the time since last September. Her home was at Los Angeles, Cal., where her husband, Chas. Ohse, died 20 years ago. The remains were taken there on Sunday, accompanied by Anthony Klusmeyer, a brother of Mrs. Ohse, and will be met at Kansas City or some other point enroute by Albert E. Ohse, son of the deceased lady. On arriving at Los Angeles the body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Emil Hartung, another sister, from where the funeral will be held, with interment in the family lot in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Houlehan was with her sister almost constantly before and after the operation, and other relatives, including her three brothers, Henry Klusmeyer, of Evansville, Wis., and Henry and Anton Klusmeyer, of Chicago, also visited her.
