Bryce (December ?? 1951, an Eau Claire newspaper but do not know which one) Death Date was December 21, 1951 ARCHIE N. BRYCE, ROCK CREEK, DIES "Archie N. Bryce, 55, route 5, Eau Claire, (Rock Creek) died Friday at Luther Hospital. The funeral will be held from the First Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. John H. Ashley officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Falls cemetery. Friends may call at Stokes and Sons Sunday afternoon and evening and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the church. Surviving are his wife, Sallie, a son, Norman, and a daughter, Carolyne A., both at home; two brothers, Orrin T., of Menomonie, and George A., of Brunswick; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Wagnild, of Plentywood, Mont., and Mrs. Bessie Froseth, of Eau Claire. Mr. Bryce was a veteran of World War I and a member of the VFW. He served with Battery A, 49th field artillery, during the war."
