Submitted by: Kent Robarge 03 August 2007 ************************************************************************ Obituary of Dorothy (Whitney) Coleman in Wed., Nov. 20, 1996 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Dorothy Coleman Dorothy Coleman, 87, of Cameron died Nov. 17 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Funeral services were this Wednesdayat Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, with Rev. Roderick Anderson officiating and burial in Nora Cemetery. Mrs. Coleman was born March 16, 1909 in Wisconsin to Floyd and Victoria Whitney. She married Emery Coleman on June 11, 1925 in Rice Lake. The couple lived in the Cameron and Bruce area. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Cassity of Seattle, Wash.; three sons, Wayne of New Richmond, Darold of Rice Lake, and Kenneth of Barron; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Parent of Anacortes, Wash., and Lucille Benge of Mount Vernon, Wash.; three brothers, DeWayne Whitney of Anacortes, and Henry Whitney and John Whitney, both of Mount Vernon, Wash. Mr. Coleman died in 1985.
