Alma Eunice Weber, 95, of Longview, passed away March 23, 2006, at the Hospice 
Care Center. She was born February 9, 1911, in Kalama, Washington, to James and 
Minnie (Hugill) Hansen, and had been a lifetime area resident. Alma was a 
longtime member of Longview Community Church, volunteering her time in the 
church nursery for 64 years. She cleaned and plucked ducks and geese for local 
hunters for many years, and had made 1500 pillows of duck and goose feathers. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest G. Weber in 1964, her brother, 
Walter Hansen in 1994, and a sister Lois Dolph, also in 1994. Survivors include 
son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Marlene Weber of Longview; sister, Mabel 
Litvin of Burlingame, California; nieces, Jean Wood of Longview, Janet Hansen 
of Longview, Nancy Hansen of Mooers Forks, New York, and Diane Kincade of 
Billings, Montana; grandchildren, Cindy Parsons of Kelso, Joy Wooldridge of 
Kalama, and Clifford Weber of Tacoma. Three great grandchildren also survive. A 
memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the 
Gebert Chapel of Longview Community Church with Pastor John Williams 
officiating. Memorial contributions may be offered to the church at 2323 
Washington Way, Longview, WA 98632, or to the Hospice Care Center, Box 2067, 
Longview, WA 98632. Private interment will take place in Willamette National 
Cemetery under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service.
