John Henry Vetsch, 91, of Woodland died Jan. 9, 2006.

He was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Klamath Falls, Ore, and graduated from Fort 
Vancouver High School.  Mr. Vetsch served in the navy during World Was II and 
was a tavern owner.  He lived in Woodland for 55 yeats.

On Nov. 11, 1952, he married Linda Wilson in Vancouver.  She preceded him in 
death in 2004.

He is survived by two stepdaughters, Suzanne Sayles and Suzette Sayles; a 
brother, Richard "Dick" Vetsch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodland Funeral Home.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
