Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Escola, Lexington, WA, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 due to complications of pneumonia. Born April 2, 1951 in Los Angeles, she was 54 years old. She moved to Clatskanie, OR in 1969 with her family and resided in Lexington when she passed. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Dale Shores I of W. Hollywood, CA, her mother, Pat Kelly and stepfather, Bob Kelly of Clatskanie, OR, and a stepsister, Pat Dixon of Kalama, WA. She is survived by Ernie Brinser of Lexington and her cat Penny. Her children, Lisa Marie Furia of Grenada Hills, CA, DiDi Ann Tacdol of Medford, OR and Shannon Lane Alcorn of Choctaw, OK. She had four grandchildren, Mallory & Ricki Tacdol and Matthew & Nickole Alcorn. She is also survived by her brothers, Dale Shores of Clatskanie, OR, Jesse Younger of San Diego, CA and sisters, Teri Sadler of Castle Rock, WA and Kelli Harding of Kelso, WA. She had many nieces and nephews also in the Northwest. She enjoyed many vacations in recent years with her sister and family. She was a very strong woman who cherished family. Her sense of humor was wonderful, her heart, as big as the world, she was always there to support her family and friends in whatever way they needed. She was a wonderful friend, mother, grandmother and sister. To all she left behind she will be missed tremendously. We love her very much and take comfort in knowing she is at peace with loved ones and the Lord in a much better place. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 4th at 2pm at the home of Ken & Kelli Harding at 187 Owl Creek Rd in Kelso, WA with Pastor Don MacDonald officiating. Green Hills Crematory has done the honors. Donations may be made to a charity of choice in her name.
