Ziegler, late of the 19th infantry band, was brought to this city from the Phillipines last Tuesday and buried in the military cemetery. Deceased was stationed at this post with the 19th infantry and was a member of the local lodge,K of P, which organization was instrumental in having the body returned to this post for burial. Ziegler was confined in the hospital in Manila with severe case of typhoid pneumonia and during his delirium escaped from his nurse and jumped into a pond near the hospital and was drowned.
