Vancouver Evening Columbian January 14, 1921
A number of friends and relatives gave a surprise party on Miss Ruth Stratton 
Tuesday evening at her home on 37th and Grant streets.The occassion was her 
16th birthday.The evening was spent in games.Later dainty refreshments were 
served.
A pink and white color scheme was carried out.The large white birthday cake 
with its little pink candles formed the main decorations.
Those present were Miss Mildred Beedle,Miss Dorothy Ferrall,Miss Genevieve 
MClure,Miss Alice Adling,Miss Ruth Stratton,Miss Ruth Lund,Miss Mary 
Sparman,Mrs.Agnes Atkinson,Mr. and Mrs.C.M.Stratton,Harold,Arthur, and Cecil 
Beedle,Thomas and Lewis Orthamn,Atherton and Earl Leach and Ed Emdike.
