Kocher has been caring for Michi during her illness. Lewis Van Vleet, of Portland, is buildinng a summer home on his porperty at this place. Thos. Brown spent a few days recently in Oak Park, fencinf his lots and building a porchon his home. W.E.Hall made a trip to Portland Saturday. His father, W.S.Hall, went as far as Vancouver with him. Dr.Urie was called Sunday evening to attend Lon Wilson's little boy, who is ill with bronchial trouble again. Miss Luther, Miss Brown and the Misses Crowson, of Sunnyside, attended Sunday school at this place last Sunday. Mrs. S.E. Dorman, who makes her home with her daughter, Mrs. J.G. Eddings, has been sick, but is now better. A surprise party was given Mr. and Mrs. Weir last Friday evening by the young people and a pleasant time was had. T.W.Robinson returned home Saturday evening from Vanocuver, where he had been serving on the jury for nearly two weeks. Mrs. Chalres Pound, of Riverview, visited a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson, returning home Monday evening. Mrs. George Richi ws taken seriously ill last Wednesday and Dr.Urie was called. We are glad to report that she is improving at this writing. J.T.Hove, of portland, was in this vicinty Friday and Saturday representing the International Coservatory of Music and secured some students for same. Joe Ornduf, Arthur McKeeland and John Flynn are all learing land on their respective farms. A number of improvements have been made in this vicinty this winter. James, Selph, Orval and Howard Neeley, Richard Van Vleet and Ruby Templar took the Eight grade examination at Camas last Thursday and Firday while Bertram McQueen went to the high school at East Mill Plain for the examination.
