W.R.* WHITFIELD Mrs. W.R. Whitfield died Saturday, July 5, at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk after an illness of a few weeks. The body was brought to Sedley Sunday morning where funeral services were conducted from Grace Memorial M.E. Church by her pastor, Rev. W.L. Burks. Mrs. Whitfield was a young woman of many beautiful characteristics. She is survived by her husband and four small children, Emerson, Elmo, Mildred and Wilson Whitfield; her father A. G. Bradshaw, five brothers, Mills, Ben, Lawson, Rossie and Aetius Bradshaw; three sisters, Mrs. W. Lee Vick, Mrs. O.J. High and Miss Mary Bradshaw. Interment was made in Rosemont Cemetery. *Mrs. George Robert Whitfield; error in original Transcribers note: Alberta Ruth Bradshaw Whitfield died birthing her fifth child Catherine who died at birth.
