Thompson, the widow of Albert Thompson, died at her home, Drewryville, Va., January 13, 1921, in her seventy-sixty year. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Morgan of Pleasant Hill, N.C., and at the age of twenty-five was married to Albert Thompson of the same place; who preceded her to the grave many years ago, having met his death from serious wounds received while in service in the Civil war. She was a devoted Christian worker from early childhood and was a consistent member of Person's M.E. Church. She was an ever dutiful wife and mother and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. T.E. Dunn of Capron; two sons J.A. Thompson of Courtland and Major Thompson of Drewryville; one nephew, Willie Camp of Pleasant Hill, N.C., besides a number of grandchildren. She was laid to rest at Memorial Cemetery, Drewryville, Rev. Sam N. Hurst of Capron conducting the burial services. The pallbearers were Wray and Leslie Thompson, Ryland and Paul Dunn, Paul Thompson and Reuben Ezelle. [Sarah L.
