EVA HOLLAND BEATON MANNING

Mrs. Eva Manning 

Norfolk - Mrs. Eva Beaton Manning, 59, wife of William A. Manning and daughter 
of Mrs. Stella Jones Holland and the late Junius C. Holland, died in a Norfolk 
hospital Thursday at 4:20 a.m. 

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Eunice 
B. Kirles of Norfolk, Mrs. Louise B. Olson and Mrs. Jean B. Olson, both of 
Denver Colo., a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carolyn N. Armstrong of Chula Vista, Calif.; 
a stepson, Frank A. Manning of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Thomas L. Kirles 
III of Norfolk, Karen L. Olson, Gregory N. Olson and Ronald E. Olson, all of 
Denver and four step-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Manning was a native of Nansamond County and had lived in Norfolk for 30 
years, lately at 704 Graydon Ave., Apt. 2-A. She was a member of Central 
Baptist Church and Healy Bible Class. 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Central Baptist 
Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, with the Rev. Ira D. 
Hudgins officiating.
