Meadows, 69, a resident of Ivor for the past five years, died in a Suffolk hospital at 3:30 o'clock Thursday morning, May 16, after a brief illness. A native of Braxton County, W.Va., he was the proprietor of a service station in Ivor. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J.J. Dennie of South Charleston, W. Va. and Mrs. W.F. Ranson and Mrs. R.K. Langhrey, both of Dunbar, W.Va.; one son, Virgil Meadows of Miami, Fla; one brother, W.T. Meadows of Gree, Ky.; and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Startcher of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Mrs. Lula Nettles of Gipp, W.Va. and Mrs. Nolie Hess of Camden-on-Gauley, W. Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Rites for Mr. Meadows were conducted at the Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. Jeff Monroe, pastor of the Zuni Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Ivor Cemetery, pallbearers being L.R. Bracey, Warren Cobb, Wayland Councill, John O'Berry, and Bennie Worrell. [John W.
