MAGEE Mrs. Eugenia Magee, widow of the late J.W. Magee, died in Franklin at the home of her brother, J.R. Howell, in High Street Friday, January 21, 1916, in her 60th year. She had been in feeble health for several months. She was a consistent member of the Franklin Christian Church and had endured her sufferings with patience, confident that death was but an end to earthly pain and the entrance to the life triumphant. She is survived by two brothers, J.R. and I.E. Howell of Franklin, one sister, Mrs. M.O. Rountree of Suffolk and four step-children, Mrs. J. Peter Holland and Mrs. G. Leslie Hall and W.A. and Pressley Magee, all of Norfolk. The funeral services were conducted from the Franklin Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the pastor, Dr. C.H. Rowland, interment following in Poplar Spring cemetery. The active pallbearers were J.L. Morel, Dr. W.E. Snipes, L.R. Jones, Jno. C. Parker, R.E. L. Watkins, G.H. Steinhardt, J.L. Camp. P.D. Camp.
