He was the son of the late Elisha J. and Annie Bracey Joyner. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lelia Brantley Joyner, two brothers, R.H. and E.E. Joyner; one sister, Miss Minnie V. Joyner, two nieces and two nephews, all of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence by Rev. R.E. Brittle. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Pallbearers were J.G., A.B. and S.M. Joyner, I.C. White, T.R. Cobb, W.H. Scott, T.M. Collier and Sam Cutchins. Burial was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
