JOHN RALEIGH JOYNER

   John Raleigh Joyner, age 61, died Friday morning, March 31, at his home in 
the Franklin community after a long illness. He was the son of the late Elisha 
J. and Annie Bracey Joyner.

   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lelia Brantley Joyner, two brothers, R.H. 
and E.E. Joyner; one sister, Miss Minnie V. Joyner, two nieces and two nephews, 
all of Franklin.

   Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the 
residence by Rev. R.E. Brittle. There were many beautiful floral tributes.

   Pallbearers were J.G., A.B. and S.M. Joyner, I.C. White, T.R. Cobb, W.H. 
Scott, T.M. Collier and Sam Cutchins. Burial was made in Poplar Spring 
Cemetery, Franklin.
