WHITFIELD JOHNSON 1/18/1957 (dob 5/8/1874) Franklin, Jan 18 -- Mrs. Nannie Whitfield Johnson, 82, died at her residence this morning after a long illness. Mrs. Johnson, a life-long resident of Southampton, was the Daughter of the late John and Louise Whitfield and the widow of of the late W. T. Johnson Sr. of Ivor. She was a member of the Ivor Baptist Church and the Woman's Missionary Society. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Vera West of Ivor, Mrs. B. L. Warren of Portsmouth, Mrs. D. H. Andrews of Baltimore, Mrs. G. W. Leigh of Drewryville, and Mrs. E. A Hatch of Wakefield; three sons, Russell Johnson of Ivor, W. T. Johnson Jr., of Windsor, and Nathan W. Johnson of Baltimore; 17 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of W. J. Holland and Sons of Franklin and on Sunday will be taken to the Ivor Baptist Church for funeral services at 2 p.m. by Rev. Eugene Arrington pastor of Ivor Baptist Church and assisted by Rev. J.M. Bland pastor of the Ivor Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ivor cemetery. Active pallbearers were F.P. Joyner, Robert Rawls, John Fairloth Jr, Archie Gardner, Stephen Boykin, Elliott Bryant, Frank Babb, and Winston Camp. [Nancy T. "Nannie" (WHITFIELD; Mrs. W.T.
