[The above obituary printed here is an exact duplicate of the one published in the newspaper. Note the omission of daughter, Mrs. Edward L. (Helen) Brinkley and the duplication of son’s name. The cemetery records of Oak Grove Cemetery indicate that Arthur was reinterred at Forest Lawn Cemetery. This information is incorrect- his father was the one who was reinterred at Forest Lawn. Arthur’s brother Lloyd bought cemetery lots at Forest Lawn for the family and had his father moved there. Arthur’s grave is unmarked, but he is buried with his first wife, whose grave is also unmarked.(jb)] [Arthur Hudson HARCUM, d. 1 Jul 1942, Norfolk, age 52, interred in Oak Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth, 2 Jul 1942, "The Virginian Pilot" (Norfolk, VA), donated obit dated 2 Jul 1942] [obit donated by Joan Brinkley, file transcribed by Mrs. Bruce Saunders (bs4403@verizon.net), and re-formatted by File Manager.]
