GRAY Mrs. Annie M. Gray, beloved wife of Geo. M. Gray of the Franklin community, died at her home near here Monday morning at 8 o'clock of complications following Spanish influenza. The deceased was in her forty-fifth year and was the daughter of the late Geo. W. Branch of this county. She was a faithful member of the Franklin Baptist Church and lived the life of a quiet, unassuming Christian wife and mother, busying herself with the affairs of home life and exemplifying in her daily tasks the faithfulness so beautifully attributed to the mother of Lemuel in the Proverbs of Holy Writ. The deceased is survived by her husband and three chldren, Ezra F. Gray and Miss Laura Gray of Franklin and Wesley Gray, now in the United States Navy; by her aged mother, Mrs. Sue S. Branch; three brothers, W.M., G.W. and R.C. Branch of Franklin and four sisters,, Mrs. Mattie Screws, Mrs. Bernice Edwards, Mrs. L.B. Edwards and Mrs. F.L. Whitley. The funeral services were conducted at the grave in Poplar Spring cemetery Tuesday afternooon at 4:30 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. J.L. McCutcheon, the pall-bearers being N.L. Carr, J.A. Johnson, J.J.
