MAUDE LEE MILES FERGUSON

MRS. MAUDE L. FERGUSON

   Mrs. Maude Lee Ferguson, 72, widow of Paul Lee Ferguson, died at 2:20 
o'clock Sunday afternoon, October 24, at 327 Henry Street, her residence in 
Portsmouth. 

   A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and 
Mrs. Mary Gray Miles. For the past 25 years she had made her home in 
Portsmouth, where she was a member of Wright Memorial Methodist Church. 

   Mrs. Ferguson is survived by one son, Herman A. Ferguson and one grandson, 
Herman Lee Ferguson, both of Portsmouth, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

   Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the 
Snellings Funeral Home, followed by burial in Olive Branch Cemetery.
