MILLS DEMERIS EDWARDS

NORFOLK - Mills D. Edwards, 90, of 3009 Overbrooke Ave., a native of 
Southampton County and the widower of Ruby McClannan Edwards, died July 25, in 
Arlington. Mr. Edwards had retired as a policeman with the Norfolk Police 
Department. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police. Survivors include a 
son, Clayton L. Edwards of Arlington, and four grandchildren. The grave side 
service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. 
John B. Paterson. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in 
charge.
