CLYDE CALVIN EDWARDS

CLYDE C. EDWARDS

   Funeral services for Clyde Calvin Edwards, 47, a former resident of 
Franklin, who died at his home in Norfolk on Thursday morning January 3, as 
the result of a heart attack, were conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery. Rev. James W. Turner, pastor of High Street Methodist 
Church, officiated. 

   He was the son of Mrs. W. Calvin Edwards of Norfolk and the late Mr. 
Edwards, and was a member of High Street Methodist Church, Franklin. 

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Virgie Talley Edwards; one daughter, Mrs. 
Marilyn Kelleher; one grandson and one sister, Mrs. Virginia E. Stockstill, 
all of Norfolk. 

   Active pallbearers were Emmett W. Holt, Stanley Edwards, D. Vernon Tunstall, 
David Lawrence, Otis Smith and J. Richard Lawrence.
