DRAKE Mrs. Lillian Estelle Drake, the beloved wife of H.L. Drake of the Franklin community, died at her home Tuesday, December 3, in her twenty-third year. She had been in poor health for several years and had recently returned from a sanitorium in the western part of the State, apparently much improved but grew worse suddenly a few days prior to her death. The deceased was an attractive young woman of gracious personality and numbered many friends who deeply sympathize with the heart-broken husband and parents in the loss of this fine young Christian woman. She is survived by her husband; by her parents Mr. and Mrs. S.T. Pope and four brothers of the Capron community, one of whom is now overseas with the American Expeditionary Forces. The funeral was conducted from Joyner's Christian Church, of which the deceased was a loyal and consistent member, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment following in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
