B.A. BROOKS Mrs. Eunice Fleetwood Brooks died at her home in First Avenue Thursday morning at 3 o'clock in her 25th year. She had been in ill health for the past three years, and her death, though not unexpected, came as a great and severe shock to her loved ones and friends. She was a member of the Franklin Baptist church, and a young woman of many fine traits of character. Her mother died several years ago and her father, Mr. J.C. Fleetwood, one of Franklin's most highly esteemed citizen's died in May 1915. she is survived by her husband, B.A. Brooks; a little daughter, Dorothy, of two years; three brothers, C.B. Fleetwood of Marion, S.C., L. Fleetwood and J.V. Fleetwood of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. G.W. Hedgepeth of Holland and Miss Ruth Fleetwood of Franklin. The funeral services were conducted from the Franklin Baptist church yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock by Dr. J.L. Lawless of Holland, assisted by Dr. C.H. Rowland of the Christian Church. Her pastor, Rev. J.L. McCutcheon, was prevented from being present by sickness. The active pallbearers were Barclay Pretlow , W.T. Pace, Jr., Roscoe Stephenson, Ed. Lawrence, Ryland Rose, Stanley Holland, Richard Peters and Edgar Weede. Honorary pallbearers, Dr. J.C. Rawls, J.A. Pretlow, M.H. Moore, Geo. R. Hayes, J.R. Howell, W.T. Pace.
