CHRISTIANA BEALE BEATON

MRS. CHRISTIAN BEATON

   Mrs. Christian Beaton, after a very brief illness, calmly departed this life 
June 15, 1918, in her seventy-ninth year, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
K.H. Raiford.  Services were held at Black Creek Baptist Church of which she 
had been a member for about 35 years, and interment was made in the family 
burial ground. She was a loving mother and a kind neighbor. She left surviving 
her two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Carr of Isle of Wight County and Mrs. K.H. 
Raiford of Southampton and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Beaton an Mrs. John Bradshaw.
