He was born Aug. 12, 1922, and resided in Middleburg, Fla., since 1989. He was a former employee of Smyth County Community Hospital. A son, Richard Finley, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Finley; son, Jerry Finley; daughters, Kay Criss and Sue Bray; 10 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Jean Talbert and Rex McMillan, both of Marion. Holly Hill Funeral Home in Middleburg, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
