MARY ELLEN JOYNER BRADSHAW

   Suffolk, Oct.22-   Mrs. Ellen Bradshaw, prominent Nansemond County citizen, 
and widow of Nathaniel Bradshaw, died this afternoon at her home near 
Nurneyville, in the county, aged 78 years.

   Surviving her are five sons, F.B. Bradshaw of Suffolk; Lafayette, Herman, 
and John C., of this county; three daughters, Mrs. George Wade, of Franklin, 
Mrs. Charles Gardner and Mrs. Gordon Vaughan, of Portsmouth; a brother, R.H. 
Joyner, of Walters; a sister, Mrs. Pattie Mumford; 29 grandchildren and three 
great-great grandchildren.

   Funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock with the Rev. 
Dr. R. W. Johnson and the Rev. R. E. Brittle officiating.
