VA Will Book B, pp. 118-120 ******** In the name of God amen, I William Fox Senr. of Loudoun county and Colony of Virginia, being Weak in body; but of sound mind and memory blefsed be god; doth make my last Will and Testament; this 12th day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Seventy One -- 1771. That is to say Frist; That my Will and desire is That all my just debts be paid according to Law and secondly 2dly That at the decease of my beloved wife Elizabeth Fox; my estate both Real and personal; shall be sold; Which untill her decease She shall be Whole and sole Inheritorship of my Estate both Real and Personal. Thirdly 3dly my Will and Desire is at her decease; that all my Estate both Real and Personal be sold; and Equally divided amongst my children Namely; James Fox and William Fox; Susannah Scott the wife of Samuel Scott and Margaret Scott; Wife of Robert Scott. Fourthly 4thly I do appoint Samuel Scott and James Fox to be my Executors of this my Lst Will and desire; and hope that they Will discharge; the Trust to them Left according to their Judgement; In Witnefs Whereof I the said William Fox have to this my laft; Will and Testament set my hand and seal; the day and year above Written.
