EDNA ROXIE RAMSEY

   SMITHFIELD, VA., APRIL 15 - Mrs. Edna Roxie Ramsey, 75, died Tuesday at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise R. Lane, of Ivor, Va.  A lifelong resident of 
Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of John Albert Ramsey.  Besides Mrs. 
Lane, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Eugenia R. Myers of Ivor; three 
sons, Walter H. Ramsey, of Waverly, John A. Jr., and Charles M. Ramsey, both of 
Ivor, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  A funeral service will be 
held 4 p.m. Friday at her home at Sycamore Cross, Isle of Wight County.  Burial 
will be in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
