He was born May 22, 1925 in Fillmore, Utah to Melvin Alonzo and Fauntella Davies Robison. He graduated from Millard High School. He married Pearl Brinkerhoff in the Manti Temple on November 1, 1950. He served his country in the Korean War. He returned home to Flowell where he worked as a farmer and cattleman all his life. Junior enjoyed working the land, raising cattle, trading horses, riding in the mountains, sports and reading. He was actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various callings, which included home teacher, high councilman and Bishop. He was heavily involved in the Lamanite Placement Program for many years. He and Pearl served together as Cove Fort missionaries for several years. He was a man of great integrity and generosity. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will truly be missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pearl; three children, Wendy (David) Ellison, Flowell; Tess (Richard) Woods, North Ogden; and Durand (Julie) Robison, Flowell; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a foster son, Alvin C. (Cindy) Young, Church Rock, New Mexico; brother, Parley (Ilean) Robison; sisters, Phyllis Johnson, Estell Bennett, True (Lee) Huber, Faun (Carl) Guillette and sister-in-law, Peggy Robison. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and partner, Jarold Robison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flowell Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 25, 2003, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Flowell Ward and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2003 prior to the funeral.
