Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Faith Village Church of Christ with Charlie Thomason, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home at Wichita Falls. Mrs. Deaver was born on Oct. 11, 1936, in Olney to the late John Irl and Maggie Jewell Branch. She married Charles Wray Deaver in Megargel Feb. 25, 1956. After her graduation in 1955 from Megargel High School, she moved to Wichita Falls to attend Draughn's Business College. She worked as a member of Faith Village Church of Christ since 1956, and worked there as a secretary for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Deaver. Survivors include her husband, Charles Deaver; two daughters, Nikki Deaver of Wichita Falls and Debbie Woosley and husband Charles of Graham; a son, Barry Deaver and wife Susan of Wichita Falls; a sister, Frances Reagan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Hall Branch and wife Frances of Quitman; four grandchildren, Ian and Alece Woosley and Barry and Toby Deaver. Memorials may be made to Faith Village Church of Christ for scholarships to Quartz Mountain Christian Camp or to Hospice of Wichita Falls. Visitation will be at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6.
